There’s a place in Baguio City where you can indulge your palate with authentic Italian dishes: at Alfoncito’s Place. Owned by a family whose patriarch, Alfonso, worked in a cruise ship where he learned how to cook Italian cuisine, the restaurant is a great place to dine in.
A wide range of Italian dishes is served in this family-owned café. You should try their mouthwatering pasta meals served with garlic crostini. Several choices are available to ignite your palate: Penne alla Bolognese, Spaghetti al Aglio e Olive, Linguini al Pesto with oven-baked herbed chicken, Salsa Marinara, and Fettuccine Alfredo with Braised Ribs and Mashed Potato.

Before indulging in the delicious pasta dishes, you might want to enjoy their signature chocolate drink topped with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon. There are also other gourmet drinks available on the menu for you to indulge in while dining at Alfoncito’s – be it hot coffee drinks or cold shakes and smoothies.

Open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., this charming Italian café also makes a great hangout for enjoying some mid-afternoon snacks. Treat your palate with their delicious sandwiches served along with some fresh salads.
Unlike most cafés these days, there is no wi-fi internet connection in Alfoncito’s and gadgets are discouraged inside. What for? Well, cafés used to be a place where people hang out and enjoy great conversations in the past. It would be nice if people forget about technology for a while and focus on enjoying the meal and conversing with their companions. That’s what the café wants to bring back.
You’ll find plenty of conversation pieces in the café – you don’t need your gadgets to have fun while dining in this chic little place.
